Cataract Fellowship (SICS)

          Duration: 8 Week

          Eligibility: MS/DO/DNB in Ophthalmology.

          Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM

           Program details:  

  • 40 SICS cases under the guidance of senior surgeons with a step-by-step wise approach.
  • Management of the general ophthalmology OPD.
  • Case presentations and clinical discussion.

 Note: Accommodation and conveyance are not included in the program.

Cataract Training Program ( Phacoemulsification )

Duration: 4 Week

Eligibility: MS/DO/DNB in Ophthalmology.

Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM

Program details:

  • 25 cases under guidance of 2 Senior surgeons.
  • The program will be concentrated on making the candidate confident in all steps of basic Phacoemulsification.
  • Operating machine: Oertli, Recording system: Sony HD 4K, Microscope:Lumera Carl zeiss.
  • All cases will be under supervision and guidance of 2 experienced cataract surgeons and would be subjected to his expertise.

Note: Accommodation and conveyance are not included in the program.

Surgical Vitreoretina Training Program

Duration: 4 Week

Eligibility: MS/DNB/DO in Ophthalmology with fellowship in vitreoretina.

Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM

Case: 10

Program details:

  • The program will be concentrated on making the candidate confident in all steps of basic vitreoretinal surgery.
  • Operating machine: Constellation, Alcon, Viewing system: Contactless BIOM. Recording System: Sony HD 4K., Microscope: Lumera Carl Zeiss.
  • All cases will be under supervision and guidance of an experienced Vitreoretinal surgeon and would be subjected to his expertise.
  • The candidate will also have a role and learning aspect in the OPD and will have exposure of various imaging modalities/procedures.

Medical Retina Training Program

Duration: 8 Week

Eligibility: MS/DNB/DO in Ophthalmology

Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM

Program details:

  • The fellowship includes exposure to diagnosis and management of a myriad of medical retina and uvea cases, lasers, intravitreal injections and ROP screenings.
  • Exposure and learning in imaging modalities like OCT, OCT-A, FFA, USG etc.
  • The candidate will have to actively participate in case presentations and clinical discussions.
